Question:

I have a sick 2 year old and a 2 month old who is a preemie, how can i help keep the baby from getting sick?

i know the obvious like

~hand washing

~trying to keep him from touching her

but is there anything else i can do that im not thinking of

  1. open your windows for fresh air.. re-wash bed linens, throws, etc

    keep disinfecting your house, door handles, bathroom, etc, even your car, your steering wheel, anything you touch as well as what the child may touch. I would guess that your baby sleeps alot, but put on a big clean shirt or something when handling the baby, then take it off before you tend to your sick child... Good luck!


  2. I think you are probably doing all you can do.  

  3. if you are breastfeeding, i wouldn't worry too much about it.

  4. Just try to keep him as far away from her as possible....is it possible to recruit some help? Maybe have a friend or family member come to take care of him so you can focus on the premie...or maybe the other way around?
