I have a single lovebird and she's bonded to me alone. Will she forgive me if I get a cockatiel?

I got her from a neighbor when she was a 18 mos. old and she is out of the cage and cuddle-snuggling with me four hours a day. I've been told she will never do so again if she sees me doing the same with another bird. I've already promised her she can keep the bigger and better cage. Help!

you should be fine as long as you spend time with both, i have many birds and they all still act the same as when i first got them.
