I have a sister in law. She keeps threatening to leave my brother (her husband).?

You can't.  She may have a valid reason for all you know.  I suggest you stay out of this one, because when all is said and done, YOU will look like the bad guy to at least one of them, if not both.

Well i guess you should, firstly figures out the problem of why she would want to leave your brother (her husband) if there is a good enough reason that even  you can't defend then you should let them decide for themselves. If it's not that bad and the problems are very small, i think you should just talk to her. She might be having a tough time and wants to be listened to and wants to express how she feels. You could talk to her, take her out to relax or help her with anything that she may need help with.

This is a form of emotional abuse. If someone repeatedly threatens over a long period of time to leave a relationship then she is emotionally abusing her partner. You can do nothing to help her- it's none of your business as their marriage is a private affair and your involvement will cause trouble or a weakening of their relationship and communication. Her partner/husband should speak with her to see if she has reason for unhappiness in the relationship and do what he can to remedy this. If she continues to threaten without actually leaving then he should ignore her or leave her.

So we dont know the problem ask her whats wrong then u can solve,what if she is cheationg around en she want to leave en have more fun ,hey get the base of the issue
