  2. Well, this idea might not really be to your liking, because it does depend on what you like, I'm sure we have our differences in art, but first of all I must say, If It is similar to that it is great!

If you want to balance it out a little bit more, I think you should add some kind of a background. My suggestion would be some black and white spiral circular things that just keep on going, of course using whatever colors you'd liken though. If you don't like that idea, you should make some rain drops falling down. You don't even necessarily need clouds, but if you want to, you could add some clouds to the top of the paper as well.

If you haven't yet colored this in, I think you should change the colors a bit, possibly instead of making all of the roses black, you should outline them in black, and make them red, you can then make some of them fade into a maroon color, then a darker red, then darker, until they reach black.

One other idea that came to mind was drawing some kind of an arrow going through the skulls head, or something like that. Maybe even add  a few strands of hair to the skull head and skin, like it's just started decapitating.

Try adding some kind of a background to it. Maybe a dark forest scene, with trees and bats and such? It might take a while to do, but I'm sure it will come out great.

Now, to replace the fairy, how about another girl, just without wings, or a guy?

Be unique, just start drawing and make some kind of a monster sitting on top going into the head.

When you finish your drawing can you send it to me in an email, if you do happen to scan it? :P

  3. yeah i think a weapon like maybe a gun and then you could have a few bullets sitting down in front of the roses or something? just my opinion.

  4. Hi,

If the composition is about the same i.e. that you don't have spaces to the sides just like the work shown, I'd leave it as is.

If you have a composition needing another object, I feel that a hourglass would be appropriate.

    Kind regards,

  5. A winged Dragon...Welsh of course.

  6. a melting candle maybe? or even a decaying old teddy bear or doll.

or a spider. You could even do a weapon, like a dagger or axe as if it was stabbed in the forehead.
