I have a sky box, no subcribtion, just the free channels but C4 is not on .?

i thought Channel 4 was free?

Switch it off at the mains for a minute or 2 then switch back on.It should reset itself.

i get channel 4 but not e4 or more 4  you might have to fiddle with the add channels on your set menu

well there are two types of free.

free to air (fta)

and free to view (ftv)

free to air are free channels and u can view them without a viewing card or subscription. there compltely free.

free to view are free but require a viewing card, you should be able to order a freesat card from sky for about a one off payment of £20.

Apparently channle 4 on satelite is still ftv! meaning u need a freesat card to see it! i read tho thta they are going fta by the end of march 2008.

either buy a card or wait. but i cant garentee c4 is going free to air, its just more proabable than them staying ftv.
