I have a small Sylvania LCP tv and when I plug it in it keeps turning on and off. How can I fix this myself?

sounds like the power supply box may be fixing to go ca-put on you.my computer acted just as you say your T.V, is..i replaced the power box..where the cord goes into the back of the T.V ..that is the power source and it is arcing ..thats what it sounds like to me..good luck.and be safe.t.v and such retain electricity for along time even after you unplug it..
