I have a small block chevy in a 1978 Camaro. The engine code shows T0516CKP. What type of engine is this?

to be sure its a 400..  look at the dampner (harmonic balancer) and see if it has a groove cut into it about  1/3 the way around it... forsure its a 400 then.. looks like someone hit it with a router....the answers are very good --and correct.
