I have a small lump in the vein of my left arm,could it be a clot?

I just noticed it yesterday,and it is about the size of a BB. Its not painful,and it is very hard.I have no numbness or pain in my arm. I'm just trying to figure out what it may be. I was thinking that if it was a clot,I would have numbness in my arm. Also isn't a clot soft? Any answers would be greatly appreciated.I have no insurance,and can't really afford to go to the doctor unless it's absolutely necessary.

Perhaps you have bruised you vein somehow , It's hard to give it diagnosis wothout looking at it . If you get a chance may be see a physician or even buy health insurance . Wha'ts the real cost your health or your money ?
