My two year old Paint mare has this yellowy mucus running out of her nose. I called the vet and he's coming tomorrow morning, but does anyone have any idea what it might be? She's UTD on all vaccinations, and is stalled at night, out in the early morning, back in during the hotter part of the day, as she is a show horse and I'm avoiding sun bleach, and out in the evening. (I'm not asking advice on my stallling schedule) I'm just wondering if anyone knows about this yellow snot-goo. Help!

    what did the vet say?

  2. I'm not sure what it is but when my horse has a runny nose i get a tissue and gently wipe it. Be careful not to shove it up her nose though. you can get special nose wipes as well.
