Question:

I have a snowboard that I used 2 or 3 times that has been sitting in my garage for 5 years. Is it still good?

Does it get warped if it sits for too long? Would it be ok to sell it on ebay as like new - or does it loose lots of value by sitting unused for a long time? It looks the same, meaning I don't see any warping or water damage or anything like that.

  1. Its still fine, it may need to be waxed though...

  2. no its still good

  3. yes it should be find, just need 2 wax it, and make sure the bindings are not unstable.

  4. naw, its all; good.

  5. ya it is still good as long as its not damaged.

  6. It should be fine, but it won't be worth much at all.  A board from last season goes for less than half retail price.  One from 5 years ago is going to go for a lot less.  If it does look like new, you might still be able to get $100 for it. If you hacked it up a bit count on about $25. Good luck.

  7. Make sure to get it tuned (about $20.00) and its probably really dry so needs lots of waxing cause it will just suck up the wax.)probably wont be worth very close to what you bought it at though cause each year companys come out with newer boards that are sicker and worth more. but good luck

  8. it shud be fine, if you want you could take it to a shop for them to check it out, but make sure you fix it up, tighten up any loose screws on the bindings and give it a good wax, if it needs it, tune it too.

  9. It should be fine. My father is still skiing on skis from the 90s.

It may need a waxing but it should be fine.

  10. if you only used it two or three times it should still be in pretty good condition. although i wouldnt sell it as new because it is 5 years old and some one may want a new model. just give it a nice waxing, and tighten the binding if it needs it. hope this helps. bye.
