  1. Bob Geldof named his daughter Peaches, Maddona named her child Laurdes or some such thing and your worried about naming your son Harry because of the royal connitations? do what you like and sod what others think.

  2. I think you should call him Sue.Then he can say to people,'How do you do,my name is Sue.'

  3. Lady, if you're 37 weeks pregnant, you're a week overdue as women are generally pregnant only for nine months and that would be 36.

Your baby, your kid, your choice.   I think few people would question your choice or make the connection because by the time the kid is a couple of years old, there will be other royals, other celebs and other names in the news.

If you like the name, go for it.

  4. They could be teased at school.....be more original and pick something else.

  5. how about his first name is willaim and his middle name is harry so............ william hary

  6. You can call him Henry as that is harry's oroginal name. Harry is just a nickname given to him by diana.

  7. They are your children, call them what you want.  William and Harry are both nice, traditional names.

  8. Just because there are royalty named William and Harry doesn't mean those names are classified for royalty. If you like the names William and Harry, go ahead and name your second name Harry. No one will show you contempt for it.

  9. William and Henry, both are beautiful names ...I know a person who choose them also for her sons and anybody have problem with that..

  10. Harry is a horrible name for a baby.

  11. If parents go back far enough in English and Scottish history, they can have their pick of fairly common male given names that are also regal.   For example, Richard, Harold, Stephen, John, Henry, James, David, Robert, and Malcolm are just a few royal names often not considered by present-day Royals to go along with the more customary Charles, George, Edward, and Albert of recent memory.  Incidentally, when Prince Charles and Princess Diana named their second son, critics wondered why they chose the nickname "Harry" over the more formal "Henry".  More to the point, you might also want to consider naming your son after his maternal and paternal ancestors.  Doing so makes family history much easier to trace several generations later.  You might even consider using your maiden name as his middle name.

  12. It's your child , so name it what you want !!

  13. what about Ben .

  14. Why not Michael Harold...... ! or

    William Michael.........!

  15. Harry is a good name you like it that is what counts and if people notice it just say and what!!!!

  16. I personally dont like harry .. and would never name my kid that.. !!!

But there your kids..call them what you please..!!

  17. Well it beats apples and pears love- why worry what other people think?

  18. There are billions of people named William in the world so I am fairly sure no-one will assume you named him after a member of the royal family.

Its not like you are going to name him Charles Philip Arthur George, is it? Then people would be sure you had named him after Prince Charles.

  19. Lots and Lots of people are called William  with a brother called Harry so go ahead.

  20. Don't use the name Michael for any part of his name.  That's a terrible name.  William's a strong name, and harry's a nice one.  William Harry sounds great.  I wouldn't use Harry William though because it sounds a bit funny.  If you do name him William he has the option of being called William, Will, Willy, Bill or Billy.  Bill's probably the most common.

  21. care bear sounds good

  22. I dont think anyone will really make the connection, i love both those names, good choice's,

  23. They're kids, so call them what you want! But i do see your point there - you and your kids may get laughed at because of their names, which isn't nice, but it's the world we live in! xx
