I have a sony Handycam vision Video Hi8 CCD-TRV118 NTSC?

Well i got it in 2004 and it worked for a whole year then my screen went black. Not like pitch black but you could still see things that produced light like a lamp bulb or computer screen. It works good outside because there is alot of light but inside you cant see a thing and i really dont know how to fix this. So plz if you know anything about this problem pzl post here. thanks

video cameras should default to the auto iris operation. yours appears to be stuck, look for a menu option, perhaps you inadvertantly set it to manual adjust instead of auto.
