I have a sony cyber shot $149.99 camera and i was just wondering...?

after the first charge of my ion battery, can i cut the charging time of my normal charging off at about half way or will the memory of the battery not let the battery get a full charge every time i try to charge it after this?

a hard and confusing question i know but i really don't wanna have to call "Best Buy" about this qestion so someone please help me out here :/

The Lithium Ion batteries only remember the very first charge. So as long as you charge it from completely empty to completely full the first time, you can give it brief charges after that and it will be fine.

*It might be good to give it a full-length charge once every few months.
