I have a sony xbr and when i turn it on the screen turns blue then turns off in like 1-3 minutes?

yea as i said it turns blue screen then in about 1-3 minutes it starts to turn off i did factory reset and called the sony guys and b4 i go to get it repaired i wanted to see if theres a way to fix it without spending money..

Does it work with the video input jacks? If so, then the tv tuner probably isn't working and you could simply use your video in jacks via video out from a cable box or use a vcr as a tuner source
