1. You have a bruise from the IV needle. The hospital put a tiny hole in your hand with the IV needle and you had a small amount of blood pooling under the skin from this. No problem...relax.

  2. No it's not HIV, it's a bruise from the IV, it is common and will turn all kinds of colors as it heals just like a normal bruise. It doesn't hurt because there wasn't something hitting you, like when you run into a table or something. The needles they use in the hospitals to start IV's are one time use only items and cannot be reused, and they are sterile.

  3. DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT HIV IS?

  4. No it's almost impossible to contract hiv that way as the needle they would have used would have been sterile.

I had an iv in my wrist about a month ago and after a few days the bruise got really big until it eventually started going down, it took two weeks to disappear completely. So it's nothing to worry about. Of course if you get really freaked out, see a doctor but it sounds like what I had which wasn't an issue.

    Hope this helps :)

  5. Relax, it's not HIV. It happens all the time.

  6. please be more clear.

From what I think your saying-YOUR FINE, don't worry

  7. Its not HIV. Most likely it is just damage done by the needle. I’ve had many I.vs and they do cause bruising. if it persists for more then a week go to the doctor it could be a sign of a preexisting condition such as cancer.

  8. Its not HIV. Just put that out of your mind. The bruise will go in about a week.
