Question:

I have a specific pepper in mind...the Habenero.. How does one go about drying them?

My son said he hung them on a string and they turned black. Would drying in 200* oven be the only alternative?

  1. low oven ...200 degress on a sheet pan for an hour or so.


  2. I run a length of sewing thread through the stem and hang them in a cool area. Same with jalapenos.
