  1. Probably the common "garden spider".

    They are not venomous enough to kill you, but the bite leaves a painful lump.

  2. It does sound like a black and yellow Argiope.  They are spectacular orb web weavers and are not dangerous.  Provoking them to bite would be difficult, as they would rather run then bite, and they are kinda awkward out of their web.  If you do not disturb the web or spider it will not bite for sure.

    Here is some info and pictures of the argiope.  Compare it with your spider;

  3. Well with out a picture its hard to say and since you didn't put where you lived its even harder to say.  If you live in the south it may simply be a golden orb spider or also called banana spider because of its shape.  If thats what it is its not really poisonous but it will hurt if it bits you, although thats very unlikly since they will run from you first.

    But since you didn't give location information or even a picture I won't say for sure what you might have because that would be impossible to answer.  Take a picture of it if you can and look online for common spiders in your state/city and see if any of them look like it.  Hope you find out what it is.

  4. It's a lovely garden spider, or orb spider, if I'm not mistaken.  They make very attractive webs, especially when there's dew sparkling on them in the morning.

    It's not "poisonous"  [i.e. dangerous to people.]  It does envenom its prey, but nothing else.

  5. NO ITS NOT LEAVE IT ALONE DUDE!

  6. The spider species Argiope aurantia is commonly known as the Black and Yellow Garden Spider or Writing Spider. They have distinctive yellow and black markings on their abdomens and a mostly white cephalothorax. Like other members of Argiope and almost all other spider species, they are considered harmless to humans.

  7. St Andrews Cross Spider ? If it is its harmless.
