  1. the best way i no is to soak in warm almost hot water actually the hottest you can go to soak for abut 10-15 minutes you could also put baking soda into the bucket or tub watever you are more comfortable using ... then you could try to squeeze it out with your fingers and you really can use a needle because it wont hurt at all trust me just keep picking like the outside of it *around it and just take it out hope it work because those splinters can be a ***** also try to get the whole thing out and dont break it because then you will have a bunch of broken peices of c**p in your foot also after you are done make sure you use an alcohol pad to clean it out so you obviously dont get an infection good luck=]

  2. you can try squeezing it like you would a pimple but its very painful to do so... sometimes it doesnt work and you'll just have to wait for it to pop out on its own. take a pair of surgical scissors and wipe alcohol on your splinter before doing this... scrape at the area with the scissors it shouls remove some skin so it might be easier to pop out.

  3. If you can see the end of the splinter and feel it, rub it with alcohol to sterilize the area, put a strip of duct tape across it, push it down onto the splinter, then slowly try lifting it out, the tape is real sticky and should hold onto the splinter, at least bring it out far enough to grab with tweezers. Then apply some Neosporin over the area or paint it with Iodine and cover with a band-aid for a day or two. Hope this works for you young lady, Good luck.

  4. Take some bread and soak it in a mixture of salt and water. Place it over the spot where the splinter is and bandage it so it stays in place then put a sock over it to help to that effect. Sleep on it and it should at the very least surface enough to be free and removed. If you still have trouble soak your foot in hydrogen peroxide and  do the bread treatment again overnight.

  5. Soak it in warm water and use the tweezers, that's the only way I know of.

It could work itself out in time, but if it hurts, I don't think I'd want to go that route.
