  1. I am actually having a similar problem. My ipv4 has good connection and my ipv6 has limited connectivity. I am speaking with a very knowledgeable advanced Sprint tech at the moment. He says ipv6 technology is next generation technology, so to speak. They (techs) have not even been updated on it yet. Just the same, my signal has been weaker over the past week. Just today they at Sprint have an alert out that many users are getting "server unavailable" problems. I think they are upgrading the technology or something and is causing this. I couldn't give you an educated answer to that however. My tech thinks he has a solution for me and is grabbing a computer from his lab to try something out. If I get a solution to this, I will get back to you on here....

    OK. I'm back...

Keep in mind I have Vista. Go to your control panel. In vista you want to click on or be in "classic view". Click on Network & Sharing. On the left side you will see "Manage Network Connections". Click on it. Under the dial-up connections, delete any and all sprint icons. Close your control panel and all programs you have open. Now shut down your computer (not restart, but shut down). Wait 60 seconds and then turn back on. Windows will reinstall your network connections.

Now you want to go through your control panel and get back to manage network connections as follows:

    1.    Open the Network Connection Panel. (Following steps detail the

    easiest way to get there.)

      a.    Right Click on the Windows Start menu

      b.    Select Properties

      c.    In the Properties panel, select the Classic Start menu and

    click ok

      d.    Then Left Click on the Start menu

      e.    Select Settings -> Network Connections

    2.    Next from the Sprint Mobile Broadband Connection Manager, enable

NDIS, and Novatel Wireless Merlin CDMA-DO Network Adapter will be displayed and it will be connected.

    3.    From “Network Connection” panel, you will notice under “LAN or

High-Speed Connection”, that local area connection/Novatel Wireless

    connection appears

    4.    Open properties for the Local Area Connection # with the Device

Name that has “Novatel Wireless”.  Do this by mouse over and Right

    Click then choose “properties”

    5.    Uncheck “Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPV6)”

    6.    Select/click on “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPV4)”, then

    click on “properties”

    7.    Select “Advanced…” button

    8.    Click on “DNS” tab, then uncheck "Register this connection's

    addresses in DNS"

    9.    Click on “WINS” tab, the select “Disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP”

Now shut down your computer. Wait 60 seconds turn back on and you should be good to go. This worked for me... so far. Everything seems to be working correctly. If I get more problems or get more info, I will update you again.

    Hope this can help you.

BTW... These instructions were given to me specifically for my Novatel Wireless Broadband Card, but you can just do the same with whatever card you're using I'm pretty sure.
