I have a stain on my shirt! HELP!?

i have a new lime green white stripe polo that i just bought and today was the first day that i used it and it got a stain on it. the stain was from a asian hot sauce or w/e their called. anyways when i got home today i tried to take it off my washing it. i directly put liquid detergent soap on the stain and then i washed it in the washer as normal. when i took it out of the washer the stain was still there but most of it came out and you could still see it if you look closely but not really noticeable. i didnt dry it in the dryer b/c i know that will set the stain so i hung dryed it. but i want to get rid of the stain completely. do i do exactly the same thing what i did to get rid of stain or what could i do? ill choose best answer

Try Shout, Mean Green, or Awsome

Try using nail polish remover or rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball.  This will get most stains out.  Be careful to not smear the stain onto other areas of the shirt when you are doing this.

I use Shout. I have 2 young kids and their clothes are always getting stained. It works most of the time.

I had the same problem only a couple of days ago. I tried spray n wash max with resolve power. I sprayed it on and let it sit on there for about 2 hours and washed it as normal and it came right out. After reading the bottle you can treat it and let it sit up to 7 days! Wow but I found only after two hours it came right out in the wash. It is a good thing you didnt dry it or it would be worse to try and get out. I hope that helps, had the same sauce a couple of days ago. I found the spray n wash at walmart for about 2.75, its a small red bottle.

Yes,but put detergent on the inside of the stain also.

i found oils never come out in the wash, ive thrown two away. one from salad dressing (oil and vinagar based), and the other fish sauce (asian dipping sauce). good luck
