I have a stop over for about 1 day in London. Any recomendations for things to do?

do a quick once over of the biggest and best to see in London- take a walk over the bridge to see Parliament/Big Ben and Westminster Abbey- keep going and take a 30 minute ride on the London Eye to see fantastic views of the city- catch a boat right beneath the Eye and float down the Thames River and get off at the Tower of London- take the beefeater tour (free once you pay admission to get in) and see the Crown Jewels- take a double decker bus back to central London. This should cover your 1 short day in the most fabulous city in the world, but it will give you an oversight to what it's like and you'll see some of the most imoressive sights.

If you have time, you can walk down to see Buckingham Palace and maybe catch the changing of the guards- it's close to the area you will have started at.
