I have a strange taste on my wisdom teeth ??

Whenever i run my tongue over my wisdom teeth i get a strange taste. I also get the taste when i bite into foods. Does anyone know what this taste is caused by.

Hello...The strange taste may be the result of an ongoing infection around the teeth or could be the drainage from an abscess at the root of a wisdom tooth. When you bite down you compress the tooth and that forces infection up and into the mouth...It may also be seeping and that's why you pick up the taste with your tongue when your not eating...You need to see a dentist ASAP for and examination and Xrays...Abscesses and infection can get into your blood stream and if you happen to have cardiac issues your life could be at risk. well im not exactly sure. but it might be something u've eatann resently(i hate spelling) try brushing ur teeth really extreamly well it might take it away, otherwise ask ur orthadontest(however one might spell that) go to my myspace plzzzzzzzz

it could be an infection in your molars somewhere.  is your wisdom teeth partially out of your gums?  it could be food is stuck under the flap in your gums that is over your wisdom teeth if so.  see a dentist to rule out infection asap.  and consider extracting your wisdom teeth.
