  1. Let him get his *** kicked. I'm glad he's getting what he deserves. We don't need *********** like him ******* up the good world that we live in. If he enjoys the asswhooping then let him.

Now if someone WASN'T kicking his *** for this then there would be a problem. He just likes to learn things the hard way so let him. Sheesh.

  2. You need to take this kid aside sometime, and soon!  and set something up where he doesn't feel threatened, and EXPLAIN to him that that word is HIGHLY insulting to other students, and that if he wants to live through the school year, he had better stop using it.

I would suggest inviting him to join you for lunch, or to share a treat during recess or something.  You could turn it into a way to get to know all your students, telling him he's, by the luck of the draw, the first one and you are going to have lunch with all the students.  He just happened to be the one whose name you chose first.  Of course, you would have to follow through on that.

  3. You should tell him the history of the word and why it may be offensive to people. Also it offends an entire race of people. So if he's trying to p**s just one black person off, he's being judgmental of all black people. And if it's because others have done the same to him, it's also immature and low to do the same as them.

  4. This is stupid. Are you asking us to believe your school does not have a discipline policy towards this behavior? And you don't know what to do? The future of America, our youth, are in your hands 40 hours a week, and you do not know what to do. God help us all!

  5. Talk to him in private. Ask him if there is anything that he doesn't like to be called. Then ask him how he would feel if he is called that all the time. Then ask him "Do you wish people around you feel that way?" or "How would you feel if someone in your family is called that?"

If somehow he says yes, then you, as a teacher and employee of the school, must let him know what consequences he may be facing (both legally and morally). He has to be responsible for his own decisions and behaviors.

    Hope this helps.
