I have a sub woofer and amp installed in my car,do i need new speaker wires if i plan on buying a new amp&sub?

i have an old subwoofer and amplifer in my car. I am upgrading and going to get both a new subwoofer and amp. Can I use the same speaker wires that I already have hooked up, or will I have to buy new speaker wires and install them again?

p.s. I did not install this myself, and my knowledge about car sterio systems is little to none, only watch crutchfield has told me.

generally speaker wires do not need to be changed just power and maybe the ground wires for the amp if it is double the power of the old one.

nah you can keep the ones you already have

if the new amp suggests thicker wire you might wanna change that but it's not really necessary
