I have a suzuki lt-250 atv and was buying oem parts and needed to know the year and ho to find what k it is?

i have no clue what k# means i was looking for a rear fender but there are different option like k2 or k5 and i dont see a difference in the picture but i want them to fit right. ok to find out the year my owners manual says printed in may 2005 but my bike says its certifed for californias and epa 2006 emissions on the sticker what year should i go with.

if it helps my bikes engine # is J434-153180 the frame # is JSAAJ51A962104757 and the engine family name is 6SKXX-246XA3

  1. Your vin # makes it a 2006 model (10th didget is a 6) which would make it a K6 (Suzuki identifier)


  2. The number after K is the year.

    K5 = 2005
