That's a 60 gallon aquarium or 227 liters or 50 UK gallons.

Use this formula:                                                                        Length x Width x Height (all in inches) divided by 231 = gallons

First convert feet to inches.   Use this conversion, 1 ft. = 12 inches

Length 4 ft x 12 = 48 inches

Width  2 ft x 12 = 24 inches

Height 1 ft x 12 = 12 inches

So, substitute L  x  W  x  H  =  48 x 24 x 12 =13824

                                              13824 divided by 231 = 59.84 gallons

                                                                  or roughly 60 gallons

  Note:  There are 231 cu.inches in a gallon
