  1. You have to take it apart and if you are lucky you will still have a VCR when you are done, if not then they are very cheap these days and you can get another one for under 50.

  2. Lift up the door and kinda wiggle it and try and see whats causing it to stick.

  3. Not trying to sound like a jerk, but get a dvd player.  I have a box of over 360 VHS tapes I cant get rid of

  4. buy a dvd player, oldtimer

  5. Have you tried a lot like peanut butter knife or even just taking it apart ?

  6. TNT

  7. take the vcr apart, remove the tape and put it back together again..

  8. I hate to admit it, but the above answerer might be the closest to getting it right.  Typically if a tape gets stuck in the VCR there really isn't an easy way to remove it.  Chances are the VCR is taking a dive anyway, you can attempt to open the unit up, and remove the tape without causing too much damage, but that is not always the case.  You can keep trying the eject button and hope, but if it hasn't worked thus far, it probably isn't going to.

The last resort would be a VCR repair shop.

    Good luck!

  9. haha! take off the top. try helping the machine push it out of your vcr.

    people still use VCRs?

suggestion: have your tapes copied to DVD form... but keep your old tapes cuz you'll never know, tomorrow, DVDs could be outdated. keep your tapes in a ziplock to protect it from molds.

  10. buy a dvd player? idk just take the top off.. and you can get it out easily.. or just keep pulling.. it might ruin the tape though..

  11. Try removing the cover and remove the tape.

  12. If you have the cover off (with it unplugged), look for a small loading motor. Once you find it start winding it one way or the other & see if the tape starts to back out. You can also pull the bottom cover off & see if you can see the bottom of the chassis. You may be able to wind the capstan motor or idler motor which may reel your tape back in.

If you are lucky enough to get it out, you should first inspect the tape for damage or the VCR. Chances are there are some gears out of alignment or damaged.

    Good Luck!

  13. eject lol jk um well yea just keep pressing it thats what i do

  14. With a hammer.

  15. the top of your vcr pulls off its just held on by some screws unscrew it slide the top off the sides will go with it and you can get it out then the tape is probably jammed in the reels that the tape part of the cassette runs through.

  16. The tape is ruined so get a screwdriver ease it out then get something to get the tape that will be stuck in there out.  Your VCR is probably not going to work anymore mine did not

  17. it's easy simply unplug, and shake! it's Tape getting out made easy, and kids love it!

  18. Not just a hammer. You need a good sized crow bar too.

  19. OH i did this like a month ago :p

You have to push eject, then try to push the tape in farther towards the back of the machine .  Try to get it in its regular position. Or at least straight. Dont poke in there with anything because you could get shocked or hurt. Good luck :)

  20. unplug the VCR and take the cover off. usually the screws are on the bottom.

  21. i think holy water...

then pray...the holy lord works in mysterious ways you know
