I have a teaching degree of non US country, can i be a teacher in US?

i heard about some programs that allow me to work as a teacher in US. Does anyone know any of them?

Much of what the other two posters have said, but in all honesty, even if you have taught for 30 years in another country, to teach in the US, you will need your credentials evaluated, and you will have to complete a state approved accreditation program, which is different in each state.  So, decide where you want to live and work, then find out that state's accreditation (Licensure) requirements are.  This link should help:

First of all, are you already in the U.S., in which case this is possible, or are you hoping to use this as a way of coming to the U.S., which seems highly unlikely?  You would have to get a U.S. credential, but you would not have to redo all of your education and training to become a teacher just because your original training occurred outside the U.S.

      hte state needs yr credentials to be certified by an agency first

    that s the world education services - its about 179$ for them to accredite yr exams

    i've been teachign ast a charter school for 5 years.

    as i was licensed in my country of birth they havent been hassling me too much-0- but u need to sho w u know yr subject by taking a praxix exam and gettign a professional license.- u can get a temporary one in the meantime.

    p.s i am a permanent resident of america as my family husband and kid are american
