In a final tennis match, as in the Olympics, I understand the winner will be awarded the gold metal and the loser the silver. My question is, who will be awarded the bronze. I would like the correct answer; however I have an idea but I know not if it is accurate.

I thought the 2 losers of the 2 semi-final matches could play a playoff and the winner of that match receive the bronze.

Please respond, Thanks much, Dearie

  1. Your answer is correct

The two losers of the semi-finals play a playoff for the bronze. =)

  2. your thought is correct.-

tomorrow you got the semis: rafa-djokovic and blake-gonzalez.-

both winners play for the gold and silver, and both losers play for the bronze.-

my opinion is that the bronze medal is going to the loser between rafa and djoko.-

the men's singles bronze medal match is saturday 16, it's the third match in the green stadium, after the men's dobles gold match, and the women's doubles bronze match .-the first match starts at 16:00, beijing time
