I have a terrible pain on the back of my neck

the back of my neck going down to my back is hurting so much... just tapping it hurts and trying to move my head up or down kills me... whats wrong with me? never had this happen before

You either strained it by doing too much or you could have slept on it in a bad position.  Can you think of something you might have done that could of hurt it?

I would try to take something like Motrin for the first day.  If its still bad, see a doctor before seeing someone like a chiropractor.  While I wouldn't trust a chiropractor, I have heard a lot of reputable people talk about acupuncture working really well!  That might help you.

go to the chiropractor they can readjust you
