it was here when i bought the house, and it keeps growing, and I hate it. It has a million thorns, and no flowers, and no berries. There is no redeeming value to this plant. What the heck is it?

  1. Go to bbc gardening or th the RHS web site and look at the galleries, im quite sure you will find a pic of your bush.

  2. It's what I like to call a nothing bush. It has no redeeming value; no flowers, no fruit, no nothing. There are lots of different kinds of plants that are just thorn bushes. I would have to see it to identify it.

  3. Obviously it is not good for anything. It sounds like a wild thorn bush. I would just get rid of it. It could be an old rose bush that no loner produces roses. But, whatever it is, it seems you do not need or want it, so chop it down.

  4. If you hate it and can't figure out why anyone would plant it, why would you care what it is? Why don't you just get rid of it?
