  1. with black and white, ive always liked asian themes. like black and white and red. you could do the walls red and white, or red and black,or you could use pink if you dont like red. or you could use a silvery grey or soemthing. paper lanterns are cool with this look 2.

    here are some decorations:

  2. I would paint your room a very light blue or maybe even a beige

than get matching curtains and rugs in dark deep red

For pictures i would hang a beautiful oil painting of a garden

    Get some soft lighting

    this would look really elegant

    wall color

    maybe a little lighter

    curtains

get a shaggy rug about the same color

  3. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think it would look terrific to paint it a dark gray like "web gray" (# 7075). And then use wine/burgundy colored accents.

You can also take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.

  4. We have a black and grey themed master bedroom with lilacgray on the walls. The quilt is a solid reversible black and grey, but I think that the lilacgray would look great with your bedding as well. We have black accessories including sheer curtains, vases, picture frames (with black and white photography), shelves, and lamps (table-top and floor). If you want a rug in there I would go for a gray or lilac solid, so as not to take away from the quilt pattern. In the bath, our rugs and the shower and window curtains are gray, and the towels, picture frames and clock are black. The walls in there are still white because I'm still not sure what I want to do. I think I'm going to do a sponge technique in gray tones.

  5. Paint the walls a light grey color and then get some glazing(paint dept.) and mix silver craft paint(Walmart large bottle). I used 4 large bottles of the silver and mixed it with 1/4 gallon a glaze. Keep it mixed and apply with small sponge roller. Comes out kinda metallic looking and everyone is amazed how I got that color. Will go really well with the black and white. Get a black floor lamp for lighting in a corner.Frame all pictures in black-white sheers-black curtains-silver-black and red accents(flowers) and your room will look great!

  6. I think pink would look cool, but yet, its not too original 'cause a lot of people I've seen use pink.

I would use a red, or even a gray, or silver on the walls.

And I'd use black and white photography on the walls with cool picture frames.
