Question

Hi. There is no picture but a bright horizontal line, and does not appear to have sound. I put a DVD in my player and I have sound but still a bright thin [1/8th inch],horizontal. This Jensen cost about $ 200.00 new,so comprable sets cost the same....should I "#%* can" it and get a new one? This was built in June 05. Thanx for your help...I think I know the answer.
