  1. Extremely good. So good in fact that it is suspicious. How accurate was the timing and distance? And was there a hurricane blowing behind him/her? Is this a genuine measured result or a 13-year-old's story? If it's true, get him/her in touch with a good coach.


  2. I would guess that the person was running 100 yds versus 100 m.  Anything other than that is extremely suspicious.  When I hear times, I usually ask if it was electronic or handheld, but that is so good, that I would have to see it to believe it.

  3. If you friend ran that time in a track meet with automatic timing I am sure I would have heard about it.

    No one in the world that age can run 100 meters in 10 seconds anything let alone 10 seconds flat.

  6. Considering that the world junior record is 10.01 seconds, set by Darrel Brown in 2003, yes that is an exceedingly good time. I look forward to watching them at the olympics.
