I have a thyroid removal surgery tomorrow. Should I take my Lunesta sleeping pills tonight??

My doctor said i should not take any Excedrin,Tylenol ect. before the surgery

  1. no, stay away from all pills especially narcotis.


  2. Do not take any medication before surgery.

    If this answer is not enough for you, call a doctor and ask him/her.

  3. you shouldnt have any drugs in your system while getting surgery. Stay away from any medication!

  4. I think it would be best to have as little non-essential drugs as possible running in your system before your surgery.  Who knows what types of reactions would occur with the anesthesia they administer?
