I have a tin of Mince Prawn in Spices...?

Question

I searched it on the net to get an idea of what I could do with it and it shows up on the FDA website with the words filthy next to it and the date June 2008. Should I throw the tin away. Its called ' GIA VI NAU BUN RIEU'.

Well, if you have it, and you are not sure what to use it for and it lists as filthy I would be throwing it away! :)

Don't throw it away!! Make chinese prawn toast with it...

For a healthier, non-deep fried version, lightly brush both sides of some thick sliced white bread with a half and half mix of olive and sesame oil. Lay the bread on a baking tray and bake it in the oven for 2 or 3 minutes until it's beginning to brown round the edges. Take it out and spread a thick covering of your minced prawns, then sprinkle a layer of sesame seeds and a little salt. Put it all back in the oven and bake it for 5 or 10 minutes, or until the sesame seeds start to brown.

Slice the toast into 4 triangles and serve with little pots of soy sauce and sweet chilli sauce...it's lovely!
