I would just toss it in the garbage. My goldfish eat snails but they are already living in their tank.

jeez, your all saying don't kill it, its mean to kill animals, but don't you eat meat? I mean I am vegan, so I can say DON'T KILL IT! But then again, the very flake or pellet food you feed to it has dead animals in it. I mean think ppl. Also, I say don't feed it to the goldfish, it might be carrying diseases.
