I have a tooth problem?

I have lost a baby tooth 8 months ago and the permanent tooth still didn't erupt yet. If the dentists makes x-rays and sees that the permanent tooth is no where to be found, what will he do?

I am 13 and I'm scared of getting an implant because of the pain.

What else might he do?

im not sure about what else he can do but you can ask your dentist to sedate you for the procedure if you get an implant
