Question:

I have a torn ACL. help?

i tore my ACL in my left knee last year and it ruined my football season. since then i have worked my knee out pretty good but yesterday i was doing some linemen drills and my knee popped. i do have a brace on when i play football. what should i do? i already ice my knee everyday about 2 times a day. help!

Not good...I tore mine too playing softball, but when I heard that pop it was over!!  I ended up having to have surgery; they replaced it with a cadaver ACL and it's never been the same since.  It wasn't an easy surgery, but hopefully you're young enough to bounce right back...I unfortunately wasn't a spring chicken!!

  2. You should probably consider having surgery. That's what I did and mine is good as new! There are a few different ways to do it, but I did the hamstring one and I'm very happy with the results.  

  3. tearing your ACL is a really bad injury.....you might not be able to really play football again... alot of people who tear their ACL are not able to... I'm sorry to tell you this but u shouldn't play football because your ACL can be torn again and you might not be able to walk
