I have a toshiba projector and I accidentally unplugged it from the wall while it was running...?

and when I plugged it back in a white bar appeared in the middle of the screen and it wont go away. When I am looking at videos it flickers but its always there and never is see through. Does anyone know how I could fix this?

  1. Usually this type of damage is seen in LCD projectors as opposed to DLP because of the additional optics in an LCD. Unplugging the projector while hot does not allow the heat from the lamp to exhaust. This causes optics to degrade, in your case warp. The warped optics presents a ghost image. Your device will need some parts replaced. Sorry for the bad news.
