I have a townhouse that is listed as a condo for insurance purposes.?

We are not responsible for the outside repairs. What is the difference between townhouse insurance and condo insurance?

On a townhouse, you ARE responsible for the outside of the house, for your unit.  ON a condo, there's a master policy, theoretically, that takes care of common areas.

there should be coverage to get under a master policy for the outside of the condo/ townhome.  You should also have a renters or condo policy depending on how the master policy and your home is titled.  Good Luck.
