I have a trojan horse agent.yzb infecting my pc, is there a free program so i can take them off?

i have a virus scanner, avg it catches the threats and they go into the virus vault, but they keep coming up.. this didnt start happening until limewire was installed, but i cant find the source anywhere to delete it! please help.. thank you

Go to www.majorgeek.com, to the left there should be a list of software options, click anti-virus, look for avast home edition, click on it, it will give you a range of authors to download from, choose one, if your running Explorer, a task bar will pop up, click on it and hit download program, run setup. when finish, avast will perform a complete check on restart. During Scan, if anything is found it will give you numeric options, hit number 2 to delete all, when finish with avast, go back to main page of website go into anti-spyware, and look for spybot search and destroy, same process to download, run that software, update it and run its scan the option will be " CHECK FOR PROBLEMS" after that you should be in the clear if not write back with details and i'll guide you through the next step, hope that helps, Peace!

try to download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and do a full scan. it's free.

download Spyware terminator from download.com and install it. Then  Scan ur pc for all sorts of adware, spyware, trojans and malware and keyloggers. Do a full scan. it also has real time protection option which can be very useful. Try it.

you might have to reboot your computer and install a new antivirus. i use norton and it works good. myabe you should check the things you download before downloding them. if there are corrupt files, then thats gonna give you a virus.
