  1. Try Clamwin.

ClamWin is a Free Antivirus for Microsoft Windows

that uses the GNU General Public License by the Free Software

Foundation and is free (as in freedom) software.

There is a portable version of ClamWin where it can be install into an USB pendrive as small as 64 MB.

First use another PC to download Clamwin portable anti-virus

and install Clamwin portable on a USB thumb drive.

    http://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/c...

Update the latest anti-virus definition files.

Set the preferences to remove virus.

    How to configure ClamWin

    http://support.real-time.com/open-source...

When the USB pendrive is ready.

Start the infected PC in safe mode by pressing F8.

Run the Clamwin Anti-virus that is installed on the USB drive to scan the infected PC.

Scan all hard drives for viruses.

  2. definite way to get rid of it just do a reformat/ reinstall of windows or even better d/l a linux distro i reccommend ubuntu for beginners. poof your virus is gone.

  3. Do NOT use Spyware Cleaner 2008, it's unsafe and will add to your problems.

As others have already said, use SuperAntispyware Free Edition:

    http://www.download.com/SUPERAntiSpyware...

    Also use:

    VundoFix:

    http://www.symantec.com/content/en/us/gl...

Disconnect your computer from the internet

    Run vundo

    Restart your computer

Run the tool again to ensure no traces are left.

If there are the reboot into Safe Mode and run FixVundo again.

    RogueRemover:

    http://www.download.com/RogueRemover/300...

Download, install, update, scan and follow on screen prompts.

    Remove Restrictions Tool:

    http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/RR...

Download from Softpedia Secure Download (RO), install, run and check all boxes then click Apply and then reboot. This tool re-enables what codecs/viruses have disabled.

  4. Try a online virus scan here are some address to try Safety.Live.com...TrendMicro.com...get some protection Comodo.com is offering a complete security suite free and yes they can be trusted if you want to do it yourself I recommend Avira.com along with Safer-Networking.org(spybot search&destory) or SpywareBlaster from majorgeeks.com or Lavasoft.com...MalwareBytes.org is another good one to consider althrough the last two don't offer free protection some even recommend two anti-spyware scanners just to be on the safe side the other bit of advice i have to offer is external firewalls they hardwire to the machine with usb or firewire hook up now thats cutting edge tech.Remember paid is usally better than free however since Comodo.com kind offer that may not be the case anymore

  5. delete the trojan by cmd

  6. Trojan or Trojan Horse is a destructive program that masquerades as a benign application. The term comes from Greek mythology about the Trojan War, as told in the Aeneid by Virgil and mentioned in the Odyssey by Homer. According to legend, the Greeks presented the citizens of Troy with a large wooden horse in which they had secretly hidden their warriors. During the night, the warriors emerged from the wooden horse and overran the city. In computers a Trojan may refer to a program that appears as something you may think is safe, it may be some kind of picture or audio or video file that would attract a user and would force him to open it. Surprisingly hidden inside is usually something harmful, probably a worm or a virus. These cut programs or images typically arrive through e-mail, as attachments. But not always. Sometimes they can be downloaded through FTP servers or Crack sites as some type of software, which may be described as very useful. After installation Trojan gains control over your system, and with that hackers may do a lot of harm. Trojan can change your desktop or add unwanted shortcuts or they can cause serious damage by deleting files and destroying information on your system. Trojans may also create a backdoor on your computer that gives malicious free access to your system. By the help of Trojans, malicious users can access confidential or personal information. Unlike viruses and worms, Trojans do not reproduce by infecting other files nor do they self-replicate and each new victim must run the infected file.To avoid such risks, you should never download files from unknown sites and people, or click on links which were offered by them. Even if you're getting a file from a friend it may still be infected. Your friend may not know if he is infected. You should also avoid using programs which automatically preview your images.

  7. Any other information? like how does it effect the performance of your computer, what does the spyware ditector say the trojan is called?

Also does your firewall report any breach's?

  8. Agree - please do try downloading Superantispyware, this will most likely rid you of the bug. Avast is another I use & would also be very helpfull.

  9. use DOS in safe mode to delete it.

  10. Atleast you know it won't get pregnant. Roll it partially backup, and genitally pull the hair stuck to it off. It doesn't hurt as bad (from yanking out the hairs) if you do it this way.

  11. If you havent already tried it., I would suggest getting superantispyware free edition., download., update., and do an in depth scan in safe mode., its great at finding trojans and other c**p that the others miss., Good luck.,

  12. Hello Tootnut, Here is a link to a very good spyware program that will get rid of and continuely protect your computer from (spyware, malware, adware, trojan horses, and some computer worms)  and it is free, and it will get rid of that Trojan Horse.  So click on this link to get started and follow direction from there. (http://www.superantispyware.com)  You will be happy that you did use this program. Good Luck now get busy (smile)

  13. What led you to believe you have a trojan on your computer? Many sites exist that attempt to trick you into buying software from them.

If you are genuinely concerned try to download and install the following freeware packages

    AVG Antivirus

    Spybot Search and Destroy

    Lavasoft Ad-Aware.

Make sure you update them to the latest version prior to running them on your machine

Many trojans/virus and other associated malware will disable these programs when they infect your computer, hence why you could be having trouble getting them to remove them
