  1. THATS SIMPLE...BECOME A KILLER !....GOOD LUCK WITH THAT...HAVE A GREAT DAY ! ...GR1M

  2. At your age you want to stay away from a jump serve.  There are 2 way to generate an effective over-hand serve first is a flat serve where you strike the ball as squarly as possible in the center of the ball.  You want to cause no rotation of the ball.  This has the same effect as a knuckle ball in baseball.  The other is a heavy top spin serve the reason you want to serve with top spin is that it allows you to serve harder and still get the ball in.  To generate topspin you need to strike the ball with in the center of the ball just above your wrist,  as you follow through you snap you wrist through the ball and this generates the top spin.  You can practice this by yourself up against a wall.  Stand 6-8 feet from the wall and strike the ball with as much top spin as you can trying to make it land 2 feet from the wall and then kick up as it comes back to you strike it again you can do this over and over to get the feel for putting top spin on the ball.  Good Luck.

  3. all you have to do is beleve in your self and know that all you have to do is try, practice, practice, and practice even more and you will get a killer serve no matter what.

  4. hey, Ive been playing volleyball for 8 years and i have one of the most power full serves on the team, and I'm also left handed,, what i did was see which hand was more stronger, and that was my rite, so then i started to practise using my rite hand every day so it would get more stronger, so practise over and under hand serves against a wall... or have a friend with you to serve back and forth, that's what helped me, I've been serving the full length of the volleyball court since grade 9 and now I'm in grade 12,  the main goal is to keep practising every day to make your arm and wrist stronger....  good luck

  5. Practice,

    Practice,

    Practice.

  6. well, when i started to serve overhand, i practiced a lot. i would go to the beach to practice, gym, anywhere.

so i came up with a thing.

the first thing that isone of the most important things about serving is how you throw the ball. you have to just keep practicing your throw. up and down and up and down and up and down.

when you swing to hit the ball, just pretend your giving someone a really super hard high five. haha. thats how i learned.

  7. Practice as much as u can and let somebody that can do a over hand serve help u

  8. practice makes perfect

  9. liek everyone has said.

you need to practice, practice, practice.

i just made my team, and serving was my worst skill

but they helped me, and now im the best server..hehe

but we learned the "bow n arrow" technique. you take your left hand on top of the ball, right on the bottom, throw the ball up, bring your left hand back so its pretty much grabbing the back of your neck, bring your elbow around, and extend your arm as high up as possible to contact the ball, at the highest point possible. im not sure if that made a lot of sense, but message me, and i could explain it more in detail. i hope this helped, and best of luck during tryouts. (:

but remember its ALL about your toss!!!

  10. what i did is i used a harder ball (soccer ball) and i always hit it to the groud really hard. it helps make your serve harder. and you need to hit the ball in the middle of it and the throw has to be perfect. so basically you need to practice a lot. GOOD LUCK!
