I have a twin idect phone but when i dial a company with dial tone answering service it doesnt work. plz help!

The problem is that the auto attendant system timers will be set for the uk whereas your phone will be slightly different. Try looking for any timer setting ie TBR. Cant remember the exact setting but a bit of trawling on internet might help, think its about 15 ms. If you cant change timings take back to shop and change for something by BT. Least itd be set up right.
