I have a two-toned Brown spider outside my home that builds an unusual web. What kind of spider is it?

It has a dark brown color with a light almost white stripe down it's head and thorax. It has multi colored legs.

Many spiders are known to build erratic webs. Given that its abode is right outside your house, can it be a cellar spider, house spider, brown recluse(hopefully not) etc. These and the daddy long legs are known to build erratic webs.

Another strange web building spider collects dead bugs to build a little tent to hide itself. But it would be hard to see. I guess it is one of the erratic builders mentioned above.

Do they have the orange and black legs and build the cool web with the zig-zag down the middle?  If so, I always called it a "garden spider" but I'm sure it has a more technical name than that.
