I have a uniden base phone that has an error message E4?

does anyone know how to correct this? I had it plugged into my pc modem and now I have no telephone service.

  1. If you can find a reset button somewhere hiding, press it. If you can't find, remove the adaptor power then remove the battery. Leave for a couple of hours then try again.
