i've had it since friday. so about 5 days now, and sometimes it gets so bad the discharge is a little bloody. and i got off my period a week ago, and i've been drinking water. not like ALOT but like 5 glasses a day? about? or like 3 bottles. how bad is my infection? do i need to go to a doctor? and is it normal for it to be bleeding..

sometimes it will hurt whenever i go pee and other times it won't. and it feels like i have to pee every 2 minutes. but when i try to go like nothing will come out and it'll just hurt really bad.

  1. YES, you need to go to a doctor!  An infection requires antibiotics to be cured!  You are lucky you don't have a kidney infection!  Call your doctor and get in to see him or her ASAP.

  2. You definitely should make an appointment with a doctor. UTI's can cause kidney infections if left too long, and other long term damage as well.

A doctor will give you a simple course of antibiotics (cheap). You should also drink lots of cranberry juice, it is a natural remedy for UTI's.

But see a doctor- you don't want to mess around with this.

  3. YES you need to see a doctor, or you'll be in even more pain. you shouldn't be bleeding... you definitely must go to the doctor's soon. UTI's are awful.

  4. Yes, go to the doctor right away. It could go to your kidneys, if it hasn't already, and make you very very sick.
