  1. Stretching always helps. Focus on mainly stretches that involve the muscles in your arms, and hold the stretches for at least fifteen seconds longer than you normally would-most people don't stretch enough before a sport.

Practice your toss. Mark a place on the floor in front of you-or find a place on the floor that has a mark, and toss it like you would toss the ball during an overhand serve. The point of this is to make sure the ball hits your floor mark over and over-this means your toss is accurate.

Find a wall in your house that has nothing breakable around it-a wall in an unfinished basement works best, and practice your serve. If you need to work on getting your serve over, act like you would actually serve. If you want to just focus on hitting it harder and deeper so that it makes the ball difficult to return, practicing serving against the wall also, but focus on snapping your wrist. The ball should hit against the bottom of the wall sharply.

If you haven't already, doing familiar bounces and spins with the ball for a few seconds before you serve helps activate muscle memory on how to serve. Personally, I take the ball, spin it once in my hand, bounce it with my right hand three times, spin it again, and serve. If you haven't made your own little routine already, you should. However, because if it is unfamiliar to you, you probably shouldn't try it in a game because it could throw you off.

Practice your arm motions before the game. Just repeat them over and over, exactly what your arms do before they hit the ball, and what they are doing when you hit the ball.

Does your town have a community center with an open gym? If so, try that.

Arrive to the game early, usually, if courts aren't taken, you'll have time to practice.

Don't overdo anything though. You don't want to be tired before your game.

    Hope that helps. Good luck!

  2. if you have an open wall in your house you can hit against try that or practice hitting the ball to the floor making contact with your palm and just getting used hitting with that part of your hand also you may want to practice your toss toss in front of your hitting arm get you toss about 1 ft higher than your arm extended eat healthy and relax good luck tonight hope that helps!

  3. At home you can stretch, and maybe if your basement is not finished or there is a room in the house that does not have very many breakables or anything, you can bump the ball to yourself.  Then you can go to the game early and work on your serving.  Just remember to take your time, concentrate, look at th eball, throw it right, and come at it above your head like with your arm up like you are using a flashlight to shine the hwole court, which means you need to put your arn above your head.  Good luck!

  4. you could just do exercise in the house like sit ups and pushups!

  5. Practice your overhand serve, stretch, and warm up a little bit.  You will excellent progress when you prepare yourself for your Volleyball game tonight.
