  1. I can really sympathise as I've got this problem too!  The freezing worked for me though and they came back and now the doctors say they don't deal with verrucas anymore...  I read something crazy a while back saying if you sleep with the inside of a banana skin taped over the verruca for a month it will disappear lol, but it sounds a bit digusting!!!!  Only other thing I can suggest is going to a chiropodist where they might do a more thorought job on the verruca?

Hope you get it sorted, I know how annoying it is!! x

  2. Sometimes it takes a few goes to freeze off a wart. Alternatively, your doctor can cauterise it in his surgery.

  3. A verrucca is never going to go on its own.  Go to the chemist and get some ointment for it - should go in a few weeks.

  4. This sounds strange, so bear with me, okay?

Get a container or a tub that's big enough to fit your foot in comfortably, and pour in balsamic vinegar.

Leave the verruca emmersed in the vinegar for about 30 minutes.

After, pat your foot dry - do NOT wash it until the morning after.

Well, you can wash your foot, but wash around the verruca.

You can either do this, or squirt a bit of ketchup on some cotton wool pad and place the pad over the verruca. Ketchup's got vinegar in it too, and salt, which is a bit better, somehow.

  5. I don't know if this will help you, but I had one for about a year and I tried everything going. The product that finally got rid of it was Savlon Antiseptic Spray. It turns the skin yellow when you first spray it on, but after a week or so it started to get rid of the verrucca. It was the only thing that worked for me - I hope it works for you too!

  6. Go to see a qualified chiropodist - not a podiatrist or any other type of "ist" - a chiropodist will place a tiny acid crystal on the verruca. You then go back a few weeks later and the chiropodist will scrape off all the dead skin and voila!

  7. see a podiatrist. They can sometimes cut them out

  8. You can get it burnt out with a laser at the hospital
